Eligible Local Government Areas for Kaduna State Scholarship
As mentioned earlier, the Kaduna State Scholarships and Loans are specifically designed for individuals who are natives of Kaduna State. The primary objective is to provide financial support to these students as they pursue their educational journey.

Eligible Candidates for Kaduna State Scholarship
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. They must be natives of Kaduna State.
2. They should be undergraduate student enrolled in any university in Nigeria.
3. They could also be ND or HND students pursuing their studies in any polytechnic in Nigeria.
4. Additionally, NCE students attending any College of Education in Nigeria are eligible.
5. Kaduna State indigenes with plans to study abroad can also apply for this scholarship.
Requirements for Kaduna State Scholarship Scheme
The Kaduna State scholarship program outlines specific requirements for applicants:
1. Candidates must be native to Kaduna State.
2. They must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
3. Good academic performance is essential, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 required for students in higher institutions like universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
4. Eligible candidates will undergo a screening process to verify their credentials. This includes providing:
– First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
– Certificate of Origin.
– Statement of Results showing your CGPA (applicable to university, polytechnic, college, school of nursing students, etc.).
– Applicants must have at least one more semester left at the time of disbursement.
5. Spill-over students are not eligible.
6. Fresh students must demonstrate evidence of achieving Grade B in at least five subjects, including Mathematics and English, and Grade C for other subjects taken in WASSCE or NECO in a single sitting.
7. Successful candidates must maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or 3.5 out of 4.0 consistently throughout their studies.
How to Apply for the Kaduna State Board Scholarship
If you meet the requirements outlined above and wish to apply for the Kaduna State scholarship, follow these guidelines:
1. Visit the Kaduna State Scholarship portal at https://kdsg-scholarship.com/scholarships.
2. You will find four options: Local Scholarships, Foreign Scholarships, Law School, and French Immersion Courses.
3. Choose Local Scholarships.
4. Opt for Merit Based, or select Disability or Needs-Based if applicable to you.
5. Click on the “Apply Here” button.
6. Scroll down and click the “Apply Here” button once more.
7. On the page that appears, create a new account using your name, a valid email address, and a password.
8. Check your email for a validation link sent by the scholarship board. Click on the “VERIFY ACCOUNT” link to validate your scholarship account.
9. After logging in, enter your email address and password.
10. Select “Apply for Scholarship.” Complete the necessary information and remember to upload the required documents before submitting your application.
That’s the entire process. If you are chosen for screening and verification, the Kaduna State Scholarship Board will notify you.
