Legacy University Okija, one of the eight private universities greenlit by the Federal Government of Nigeria back in 2016. Federal Executive Council granted its approval on November 2nd, 2016. Shortly after, on November 22nd of the same year, the National Universities Commission (NUC) granted the university its official license.
