What is JAMB Mock?

The JAMB Mock Examination is an annual pre-examination held by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) specifically for UTME candidates before the main Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

It serves as a practice test for JAMB candidates, helping them prepare for the UTME.

If you’ve been curious about JAMB Mock and want to understand how it works and what you should know, this beginner’s guide is here to help. We will explain the purpose of the JAMB Mock, provide insights into this year’s Mock exam, and answer some frequently asked questions about it.

JAMB 2024 Mock Examination Date

Candidates who wish to participate in the mock examination should express their interest at the time of registration, provided that they complete their registration on or before the deadline of Saturday, April 24, 2024.

The scheduled date for the MOCK examination is Thursday, June 3, 2024.

Please take note that Non-JAMB CBT Centres are permitted to collect a separate fee of Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only from candidates who express interest in the mock exercise. This payment should be made to the bank account of the respective CBT centers after candidates have received notification of their assigned centers for the mock examination.

It is essential to emphasize that no association or entity is authorized to conduct any Mock examination on behalf of JAMB.

Therefore, it is strongly recommended that candidates refrain from making payments for the mock exam until JAMB officially assigns them to a CBT center. Avoid engaging with fraudulent individuals or entities. Only JAMB-accredited CBT centres can serve as legitimate examination venues.

To reiterate, interested candidates should indicate their desire to participate in the mock examination during their registration process.
